Conference Highlight: Videolink Presentation from FCI McKean

The Rethinking Prisons conference at Vanderbilt University is coming up in a few weeks (May 3-5, 2013).  A highlight of the conference will be a videolink presentation from two prisoners at Federal Correctional Institution McKean, in northern Pennsylvania: Talib Shakir and Adam Clausen.  Both presenters have developed programs to educate and support their fellow prisoners in the federal system.  You can read more about Clausen’s HOPE program here, and his RAISE ReEntry program here.  Talib Shakir’s Reconstruct Program is featured on Coaching the Global Village here, and his website, A Voice from the Inside, can be accessed here.  Talib and Adam will be presenting their work on Friday, May 3 at 11am in Buttrick 206.  The entire conference is free and open to the public.

  3. So proud of what both you and Adam are doing. This may really lead to more awareness of Life Coaching. And what we can do thru Coaching the Global Village
